Competitive government procurement from China β military-grade kitchenware, full QC, and door-to-door delivery.
In 2024, the Lebanese Army issued two competitive tenders for bulk kitchenware supply β commercial-grade pots, pans, utensils, and food service equipment. These weren't consumer purchases. Military procurement requires compliance with specific standards, documentation, and delivery timelines β with penalties for non-performance.
Most bidders were local Lebanese suppliers. We were the only China-based agent bidding directly.
Two things set us apart:
1. Price. Our prices were 15% to 45% cheaper than the next best bid β across different line items. Direct factory sourcing from China meant we could undercut local Lebanese suppliers by a significant margin, even after shipping and duties.
2. Trust. Anis's background as a Lebanese national running a China-based company gave the procurement committee confidence. They weren't dealing with an anonymous Chinese trading company. They were dealing with someone they could call in Arabic, who understood both the Lebanese market and Chinese manufacturing.
Sourcing: We identified qualified manufacturers of commercial kitchen equipment across Guangdong and Zhejiang. Each factory was visited in person and evaluated for military-grade production standards.
QC: Full inline and final inspections. Every item was checked against the Army's specifications. Random samples were tested for durability.
Shipping: Full container load from China to Lebanon, including customs clearance and final delivery to military depots.
