You've probably Googled 'how much does a China sourcing agent cost' and found nothing but vague answers. Most agents won't publish their fees. We will.

The Three Pricing Models

1. Percentage of Order Value (Most Common)

The agent charges 5-10% of your total order value. On a $10,000 order, you pay $500-1,000. This model aligns incentives โ€” the agent only makes money when you order. Most agents use this.

2. Fixed Fee Per Service

You pay a flat rate per task: supplier sourcing ($200-500), factory audit ($300-800), quality inspection ($200-500), shipping coordination ($300-600). Better for one-time needs or if you want to pick and choose services.

3. Monthly Retainer

For ongoing sourcing โ€” $1,000-3,000/month. Includes unlimited sourcing requests, regular factory visits, and dedicated account management. Best for businesses importing regularly.

What's Usually NOT Included

Watch for these hidden costs: product samples (factory charges, you pay), third-party lab testing ($100-500 for compliance testing), shipping and customs duties, and warehousing for long-term storage. Always ask what's included before signing.

The Real Math

Here's a real example from a recent client: Product: Bluetooth speakers. Supplier on Alibaba quoted $6.80/unit for 500 units = $3,400. We found the actual factory behind that listing and negotiated $4.90/unit. Same product, same quality. Client saved $950 on product cost. Our 8% fee: $200. Net saving: $750. Plus peace of mind with on-site QC.

The fee almost always pays for itself through better pricing alone โ€” before you even count the value of avoiding bad shipments.

How We Charge

We charge a transparent percentage of your order value. No hidden fees. No surprise costs. You know exactly what you're paying before you pay anything. And our fee is often completely covered by the price savings we negotiate with factories.
