  2. Gift Boxes & Packaging — Custom magnetic-close gift boxes, luxury rigid boxes, and sustainable kraft packaging. Ideal for e-commerce brands building unboxing experiences.
  3. Artificial Plants & Home Decor — Surprisingly strong demand from Middle Eastern and South American buyers. Realistic UV-resistant artificial plants for hotels and luxury homes.
  4. Children's Toys & Educational Kits — STEM kits, magnetic building blocks, and wooden Montessori toys. Safety certification (EN71, ASTM) is critical — ask before ordering.
  5. Bathroom & Personal Care — Electric toothbrushes, water flossers, and silicone body scrubbers. Compact, export-friendly packaging is a key selling point.

Sourcing Tips from the Floor

  • Kitchenware margins are healthy — FOB $2–$8 for most ceramic/pyrex items, retailing at $15–$40
  • Custom packaging adds 15–30% to unit cost but doubles perceived value — worth it for DTC brands
  • Many giftware suppliers offer dropshipping-ready packaging with barcodes and branding included
  • Minimum orders for home goods: typically 500–1,000 pieces, but many will do 200–300 for first orders

Quality Watch-Outs

  • Ceramic and glass items — always specify double-box packaging for shipping
  • Wooden products — check for formaldehyde compliance (especially EU-bound shipments)
  • Electronic personal care items — require CE/FCC/ROHS, don't skip the pre-shipment inspection
